| Blue army deployed and advancing. This game was just to get a game in. Both sides are equal, with six- 6 man regiments divided into 2 brigades, and 1 gun and crew. Each brigade had a brigadier general and for command a major general with a drummer. The rules used are from Junior General website. I have decided to break this report into several posts. Once again, I am trying to get computer problems resolved so I am using my cell phone to do the blog for now. |

I am thinking of doing imagi-nations for the different semi flat armies. I now have plenty of infantry for each nation. Now I must sort through my cavalry and try to organize them.

ReplyDeleteThere is a kind of 'Little Wars' romance to these ol-- I mean, veteran figures. I don't know about you, but I'd be in two minds whether or not to give them a brand new paint job. They look charming.

I wish I could only commit to using these figures. They are what I dreamed of as a kid. I have painted some figures and given them gloss coats. I started painting a particular lot that were roughly painted over with flat white paint. What really needs some paint are my cavalry figures.
