After reading "The Wargaming Pioneers" by John Curry where several old rule sets had supply rules, it seemed like it would make a game more interesting.
Yes very much more interesting. After all war is 90% logistics and 10% tactics. Not often reflected in most wargames I read about unfortunately. Regards.
Yes of course you are quite right but as is clearly shown by your wagons etc such equipment looks real good on a battlefield and adds another dimension. I am a logistics geek and there are actually quite a few books on logistics especially in the horse drawn era but you really have to search for them...I know from experience...!!!!.... Regards.

DeleteLogistics isn't exciting or "glamorous " and historians don't write books and quartermaster generals.
