I also just received the last book I ordered, Donald Featherstone's COLONIAL SMALL WARS 1837-1901. I am looking forward to reading this book. It is described as "45 Victorian campaigns described and illustrated with 79 maps".

Hi John, sorry I have been off line for a while. My father in law was ill and then sadly passed away last week, so I am just getting back to normal.

Ian, I'm sorry to hear of your loss. It's good to hear that maybe my blog gave you a little break from the stress and sadness. Like everyone, there is a lot going on in my house where people near to us are dealing with life threatening illnesses and I have had little time for the hobby. The little time spent gives me a breather from reality. I read a chapter of the Featherstone a day, too. It was well spent money.
