Mignot Civil War Figures

I have been wanting some Mignot Civil War figures after seeing them in a children's book on Gettysburg. This lot came up on Ebay for a very reasonable price. Now that I have them they will probably join other figures on the shelf that only come out when I think of buying more. Although I could see them being used in a garden skirmish wargame.

    The figures are 54mm. I was thinking of casting a couple of Guards figures and seeingbhow the Mignot heads would look on the bodies.

    Not seen before, these figures have a charm all their own. It will be interesting to see how the recast heads and conversions work.
