We were hit by a bad Noreaster that dumped around 20 inches of snow and had winds of 70 MPH. Needless to say, we lost power for 3 days.
It did give me time to get one wargame in that is going to be part of a mini campaign. I also played with the AI app. I thought of my Peter Laing Crimean War Light Brigade to play with. Below is the result.

Great to see the old Peter Laing figures in "action" !
ReplyDeleteWhen I started playing with this app, my Peter Laing Light Brigade popped in mind almost immediately.
DeleteThat was pretty spectacular!
ReplyDeleteThe first one took a couple of tries before this one came up. It was close to what I was looking for.
DeleteTerrific fun.

When you are sitting in the dark with little to do, it was an enjoyable way to spend some time.
DeleteHalf a League, Half a League, Half a League onward / Into the Valley of Death Rode the Six Hundred …
ReplyDeleteI was never good with poetry, but I was thinking of this poem as I was setting up the figures.
ReplyDeleteI was very impressed by the animations! It was great to see good old Peter Laing figures in proper action.
ReplyDeleteAll the best,
Bob
I was happy with the results, although some of the figures hammed it up by flying in the air. It has me thinking of bringing out my old favorites and doing more videos
DeleteVery nice. Some of the action with the casualties was pretty spectacular.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Geoff
I watched a couple of videos on how to use the app, which gave me a little more control over the action.
DeleteExciting stuff!
ReplyDeleteIt's fun actually seeing your toy soldiers in "real" action.
ReplyDeleteThis really adds another dimension to wargaming. Is this the beginning of future battle reports?
ReplyDeleteI really haven't given it much thought. I could maybe see doing a small "reenactment" of a particular action. My last couple of games I have tried to record the battle (for my benefit). I am having trouble enough with that, without adding to it.
