Gallia Miniatures.

After enjoying painting my Falcon Civil War figures, it has me rethinking my figures. I came across Gallia Miniatures that I have. They are stumpy figures with oversized heads. They are figures I had forgot I bought. The figures are easy to paint, and hopefully could get to the wargame table before I lose interest.

  1. I remember Gallia from long, long ago. I had a few of their Colonial British infantry but I haven’t seen them for years.
The Gallia ranges were eventually produced by Warrior Miniatures in Glasgow and are still listed on their website. After a significant hiatus I understand Warrior are now operating again (I ordered some of their 10mm sci-fi, but believe they are working their way through a backlog of orders).
FWIW - whether the Gallia ranges are still available I don’t know.
    Cheers,
    Geoff

    1. Geoff, I have some of the Gallia Zulu War British and Zulu warriors. At the time I wasn't happy with the figures. I have taken a second look at them and glued some British to be painted later.
I have been to the Warrior Miniatures website recently and am trying to decide which figures to try to order. With these figures I am thinking of using them for skirmish games.

  2. I like how just dry brushing the faces leaves them withgood detailing.

  4. I've had these figures for close to 30 years. I've finally got some paint on them.
