| I was wondering what a Britains figure would look like with a Mignot Civil War head. I used a couple of my casted figures with a Mignot head. I do like the look of it, compared to the Britain's ACW head, which has too small a kepi. Perhaps a project for later. |
The converted West Point figure reminds me of a number of the early ACW militia and volunteer units on both sides. One unit from Savannah, Georgia I recall with a tailed coat like that. James of Quantrill's Toy Soldiers.
ReplyDeleteThat's why I got the West Point figure; to try to use it for early Civil War militias. Thats also why I put on some epaulettes.
