More Edmund's Toy Soldiers

After buying the set of Edmund's Sussex Light Dragoons, I came across another set that was being sold at a very reasonable price. The seller was on vacation when I bought them and it took a couple weeks to get them. The collection is of Iron Brigade bandsmen.

  1. Nice figures, although not very useful for wargames. Still, if I was ever to get enough of these figures for wargaming they would find their way on the the field of battle.

  2. Hello John
In these vintage Featherstone rules for ACW there is a section on the morale improvement of the nearby military band in Wargames - no doubt many Airfix guards Colour party / bands were converted from busby to kepi for this.

  3. If I was a rich man I would buy up these figures and use them for wargaming. They have bands for both sides and I could see them playing the armies in to battle. With my Peter Laing Victorian figures I was going to use my bandsmen in my games.
