I used British colonial muleteers (as they weren't in Slade Wallace equipment) as Seebattalion (marines), British colonial gunners with WW1 German guns and added some lances to British colonial yeomanry as East Asia Brigade Uhlans.
They need re-basing and touching up (I painted them over 30 years ago!), but I will take some pictures and put them in my Peter Laing Google+ collection:
https://plus.google.com/u/0/collection/os0rZB
(Chris, may be of interest to you if you haven't found it already)Ian Duryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11319294059932082470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6135416429133257747.post-83396238319157607432016-02-28T06:47:45.034-08:002016-02-28T06:47:45.034-08:00I happy your getting so much enjoyment from these ...I happy your getting so much enjoyment from these posting. There is another pack that I will have to research, as some of the figures I'm not sure of. I bought some old Military Modeling magazines from 1972, and in them they mention a new line of figures by Peter Laing. I think they might be later made figures, as they cover several periods. I'm just happy they are mainly figures from periods I know; it makes it easier for me to match them.jhnptrqnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11011208263053721255noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6135416429133257747.post-87545803409961710032016-02-27T23:42:41.967-08:002016-02-27T23:42:41.967-08:00This just keeps getting better and better. If this...This just keeps getting better and better. If this unveiling is giving me so much pleasure from so great a distance then you must be fit to burst. Apart from the fact that the figures are so charming and clearly identifiable without a catalogue the breadth of the ranges is incredible, Schutztruppen !!!!!!!! From about what date do you think that the figures are from ?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04878782120365298424noreply@blogger.com
